About this project

This is an independent public information project arguing that new nuclear reactors should not be the first climate-policy priority. Its position is explicit so readers can judge the evidence and framing for themselves.

Scope

The site focuses mainly on decisions about new reactors in Europe. Existing-plant extensions are treated separately. It does not claim that nuclear power is high carbon or that every reactor project fails.

Editorial responsibility

Jodie O. writes and maintains the project and holds an MSc in Environmental Governance. The master's thesis compared European electricity strategies. That background is relevant to energy policy, but it is not a nuclear-engineering qualification. The site has not been peer reviewed.

Source policy

Primary and official sources are preferred. Claims should identify the relevant page, table or section, preserve cost and date boundaries, and distinguish reported facts from our interpretation.

Review process

Material claims are checked against the linked source before publication. Contradictory evidence and favourable nuclear cases are retained where relevant. Review dates record editorial checking, not external certification.

Use of artificial intelligence

AI assisted research, drafting, translation, code and illustrations. It is not treated as a source. Jodie O. selects the evidence, edits the text and accepts editorial responsibility for the published result.

Translations

English is the master text. Non-English versions are machine-assisted and have not yet been reviewed by native speakers unless their status explicitly says otherwise.

Funding and interests

No external funding or material support has been declared.

Corrections

Errors can be reported through the public GitHub repository. Substantive corrections should identify what changed, why it changed and which source supports the revision.

Change log

Source and content revisions are recorded in the repository history. The revision shown on each page identifies the text and data version used to generate it.
